A new battle system is being introduced.
Introduction of Main tank and Off tank roles within the new battle system.
Reborn Mode and Evolved Mode.
Improved Character Creation:
Two new jobs, one Tank (Fending), one Physical Ranged DPS ( Aiming).
YoshiP’s t-shirt hinted at a dual wield shield tank, and I personally think we might get a crossbow / boltcaster Physical Ranged DPS. I’m hoping for dual wield crossbows, much like the Diablo III Demon Hunter class. I was never a fan of it in that game, but in FFXIV, I can see myself playing it. It's past, much like the DNC is, and, as you might know, the DNC is my main job in FFXIV.
I believe YoshiP talked a little too much about the new job in his Q&A, and that’s where I got the idea from, that it might be a crossbow. Other options they mentioned were, among others, hammer, but hammer is a close combat weapon, not a ranged one.

Jaffa has caught up with the MSQ before FanFest happened, so she’s all ready for 7.5!
I’ll continue with the MSQ tomorrow, i had to get all the housing stuff sorted out first!

Anyway, I sort of rambled on a bit but with any luck, I will be on the JP Char more this week and finish Stormblood this coming weekend :)
